It aims to equip trainees with practical skills and theoretical understanding necessary for effective participation in the building industry, preparing them for roles in construction, supervision, and related technical fields.

Site Survey

This unit specifies the competencies required to carry out environmentally conscious site 
surveys. These are activities that determine the geographical positioning of the building. It 
involves undertaking preliminary site surveys, setting out civil structures and establishing 
survey control points by use of methodologies that are energy efficient, digitized and ecofriendly.
